1. Scope & provider
These terms apply to the use of RateMyMatch (website and apps), offered by Elias Saleh, Schulze-Boysen-Straße 37, 10365 Berlin (“we”). By registering, you accept these terms.
2. Description of services
RateMyMatch offers an AI-assisted analysis of dating profiles (photos, bio, prompts), anonymous community voting and personal reviews by experts. The analyses and reviews are non-binding assessments and recommendations. AI evaluations may contain errors. A specific outcome (e.g. more matches) is not owed.
3. Account
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- The information you provide when registering must be accurate. Keep your login details secret.
4. Analyses, credits & prices
- Each profile analysis uses one analysis credit. New users receive one free analysis. Its diagnosis (scores and selected insights) is visible immediately; the full evaluation (improvements, rewrites, photo order) is unlocked with the first purchase of a pack, including for analyses already created.
- Analyses and expert reviews are purchased as packs in a one-off purchase. This is not a subscription. The prices displayed at the time of purchase apply; all prices are final prices including statutory VAT.
- Purchased credit is tied to your account, is non-transferable and cannot be paid out in cash.
- Expert reviews are written by a real person. You receive them in your account within a reasonable period after your request.
5. Conclusion of contract & payment
By clicking “Buy” and completing payment, a contract for the selected pack is concluded. Payment is processed by our payment provider Stripe using the payment methods offered there. The credit is added to your account after successful payment.
6. Right of withdrawal
The withdrawal policy applies. When purchasing, you expressly agree that we begin performance before the withdrawal period expires and confirm your knowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.
7. Your content
You retain the rights to your photos and texts. You grant us a simple, free-of-charge right to store and process this content to the extent necessary for our services (AI analysis, expert review and, if you share your photos, anonymous community voting). This right ends when you delete the content or the sharing, or delete your account.
8. User obligations
- You only upload photos to which you hold the necessary rights and that show you or people who have consented. No unlawful, offensive, sexually explicit or content harmful to minors.
- In community voting you rate fairly and do not abuse the system. In case of suspicious behaviour (e.g. many identical ratings in a row) we may temporarily block voting.
- In the event of violations we may remove content and suspend or terminate the account.
9. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body and health. Otherwise we are only liable for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.
10. Termination
You can delete your account at any time in the settings. Credit already used is not refunded.
11. Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. If you are a consumer, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence. Should individual provisions be invalid, the rest of the contract remains valid.
